How do I import my Whatnot data into Seller Ledger?

Seller Ledger now offers an automated way to import your Whatnot sales, fee and payout information.

If you would rather use the more manual CSV upload, like we wrote in our blog post when we first launched the feature, you certainly may. But there are a couple of important considerations:

Make sure you are importing your "Ledger" details

Because Whatnot is a newer platform, they are still making changes to their financial reporting to sellers. We have seen customers try to upload a different report that was rolled out after our integration went live.

Upload the original, unmodified CSV file

This is a top tip for all of our CSV import options from online sales channels. We built the integration to work with the default ledger details report that Whatnot provides. This means we relied on the format of their data. If you try opening the file in a spreadsheet before uploading to Seller Ledger, there is a good chance it will change some of the data formatting without your knowledge (Excel, for example, is notorious for changing date formats, even if you don't make any changes.)
