How do I get help from Seller Ledger?

We know that bookkeeping questions can pop up at any time, and we want to make sure you can get answers quickly. Here are the ways you can get help from the Seller Ledger team.

Email support

Our primary support channel is email. If you have a question, run into an issue, or just want a second set of eyes on something in your account, send us a note at [email protected].

A few tips to help us help you faster:

  • Include as much detail as possible about what you're seeing (the account, the transaction, the date, etc.).
  • Screenshots are always welcome.
  • Let us know what you've already tried, if anything.

We do our best to respond as quickly as possible during normal business hours.

Automated chat agent

For quick questions, we also offer an automated chat agent built into the app and our website. It's trained on our knowledge base and can answer many common questions right away — things like:

  • How to categorize a specific type of transaction
  • How to connect or reconnect an account
  • How inventory tracking works
  • How billing and transaction limits work

Just look for the chat icon in the lower right corner of the screen.

If the chat agent isn't able to fully answer your question, you can always choose to reach a live member of the team via email.

Do you offer phone support?

We do not  offer phone support. As a small, focused team, we've found that email lets us give more thorough, accurate answers — often with screenshots, links to relevant articles, or a look directly into your account to see what's going on. It also gives you a written record you can refer back to later.

Knowledge base and blog

Before reaching out, you may also want to check:

  • Our knowledge base — searchable articles covering most common topics
  • Our blog — deeper dives on accounting topics, marketplace-specific quirks, and product updates

Between the knowledge base, the automated chat agent, and email support, we're confident you'll be able to get the help you need. And if you're ever unsure where to start, just email us — we're happy to point you in the right direction.
